Know Before You Shop

  • Make sure that you have everything you need on the first day of class.

  • Shop with us for peace of mind. GVSU Laker Store offers a full refund on all course materials through the first week of classes (the refund deadline is extended if you drop the class). Course materials must be in their original condition (unopened access cards, bundles, etc.) to be returned along with the receipt.

GVSU Save

GVSU Save is a digital initiative aimed at providing students with publisher content in a more affordable, convenient, and accessible way. This program is possible through a partnership between faculty/departments, GVSU Laker Store, and publishers. GVSU Save materials are used in several courses. Content will be available on Blackboard and students' accounts will be billed for materials. Read more about the program here.

We make it easy to compare prices on books and save. On our Buy & Sell Books page, you'll find GVSU Choose, an online tool that allows you to input your class schedule, view all required course materials, and compare GVSU Laker Store's prices with prices from other online retailers (like Amazon). Once you've found the best deal, you can proceed to order your books from us, or from one or more of the other online retailers.
